About

ABC-Advocacy was founded in order to encourage more young people to serve as advocates and spokespeople in their own school communities. More than merely spreading awareness, is a social movement that aims to destigmatize mental health and provide tangible tips among kids aged 8 to 14. Through the project, we hope to support young people with distinctive educational resources that will introduce them to serious and pervasive psychiatric diseases and associated symptoms in a way that is approachable, interactive, and age-appropriate.

By addressing the stigma surrounding mental health in children, we hope to encourage healthy and scientific discussion surrounding the topic. We are also endeavouring to incorporate positive psychology- a relatively new field- and understand its incorporation into school curricula. By doing so, we facilitate children’s access to better lives and help them reach their full potential, thus investing in a better and brighter future for all.
