The Pehlay Akshar Foundation was founded in 2008, and is hinged on the belief that every child has a fundamental right to not only a stellar education, but also the fostering of skills that will go on to bolster their professional lives. Working with children from underserved communities, Pehlay Akshar astutely observes English language skills as one of the primary modes of social and economic mobility, and so partners with state governments to bring their well-researched education programs to both students and teachers.

Pehlay Akshar’s work in child empowerment, education, and literacy is in line with the work done by ABC Advocacy which gives rise to this partnership as one with the potential to affect meaningful change in students’ lives.
