BC Buddy Brigade Series: Children’s Story Books
The ABC Buddy Brigade series features a series of comic-strip style children’s stories, that follow the lives of Badri, Bhavni, Bharat, and Bhuvi on their journey with recognising and helping people in their communities who may be struggling with mental health issues.
Badri Beats the Blues
Follows the story of Badri as he learns about depression, and how to identify it in the people around him. He then goes on to understand how to navigate situations that involve someone with depression, and how to treat them with kindness and compassion.
Bhavni at her Best
Has the group observe that Bhavni is displaying some anxious traits in anticipation of an upcoming presentation. They band together in helping her overcome her anxieties.
Bharat’s New Buddies
When Bhavni notices that her grandfather is unusually quiet due to his unfamiliar surroundings, she and her group of friends resolve to make him feel at home by helping him find company in his new neighborhood.
Bhuvi finds her Base
Bhuvi finds her Base revolves around a young girl and her journey with cognitive therapy. She discovers methods to battle stressful situations and understands more about how to ensure good mental health in the face of adversity.
